Here is a little patch. You need to unzip it in game folder. There will appear Assets folder. It's must be in same folder, where is Assets.epk. I can't just update itch.io builds because currently game is in broken compatibility state. Sorry for that.

Sounds awesome, pics look awesome -- like the kind of game I would like to have made eventually if no one beat me to it.  Unfortunately I have a problem -- it doesn't like my Linux version (which isn't that old, 2-3 years maybe).  I get:

/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.21' not found (required by ./Launcher)   :(

That's mean, that your libstdc++ package is outdated. Game was built in Ubuntu 14.04, as i remember.

When I booted up this game it was a blank grey window. I could hear music playing but couldn't do anything. Anybody have a fix?

Probably your video card does not support some tech. Which videocard do you have? Try to update video drivers.  If no change, then can you provide me log.txt and native.txt? These files can be found in bin or net.bin folder. I'll check this out.

I found the secret Glitch level! The game is pretty difficult, but I'm excited to play more Hermodr.

Are you using itch.io app? To fix that error you must install OpenAL from redist folder. Or you can download it here.

Fixed. Was bug in mono5, downgraded to mono4.

Failed to install because I already have Visual Studio installed - why does it need this?

If you've already installed Visual Studio runtime, than you can just run NetLauncher.exe

Shoulnd't we be able to use the itch.io launcher? I'm sure there is a way around it since itch.io is pushing this method now?

I've played a little, and it's fun, it's well worth the price !

Few issues :

- It seems i can't rebind weapon selection (12345), and it's an issue for non standard english keyboards. Adding rebind would be nice. Not sure if i even had more than my starter gun and hammer.

- Level Up, went fr grenade. Don't know where they are or how to use them.

- FOV is tiny and painful, would be great is it was possible to do something about it.

- first time, i fourd a red key, then a door needed the red key. Great ! Action : crash. Oops.

- I returned to start over, find a boss (a giant with 2 rocket launchers), killed him. There was a teleport red circle going to an empty cell. What was it for ?

- Then i found an Exit Great ! Action to activate it : crash. Oops.

I'm playing on Linux Mint.

Hi. Can you provide me a logs? They can be found in bin folder. ./native.txt and ./log.txt. I'll check this out. I've tested it on Ubuntu 16.04LTS, and it was working well.  Weapons can be switched by mouse wheel too, but I see your point. Rebind of weapon selector buttons will be added a bit later.

Every single time i try to use a door, or "use" the exit, crash. So i've never reached anything beyond the first floor so far.

I love this game! I ended up doing a playthrough for it on my channel, including how to set it up when you first download it. I'll post it below.

The game is smooth and I didn't see any gamebreaking glitches and there is quite a bit of diversity between enemies. I'm honestly really surprised only one person made this. You did a really good job Regday_NULL.

The game has a ton of potential and I can't wait to see where it goes! (One last edit: I found a minor wall boundary glitch on my third playthrough video, it's not gamebreaking but it's the only glitch I really found)

I don't have a lot of subscribers right now because I only started a week ago, but as future updates come out I'll do more gameplay videos!

I was excited until I read "rogue-like". Jeez. How is that not a "modern" system? It would be nice to have games like this one with actual level design and actual levels.

Actual level design with actual levels are barely possible for one-man-studio. But another attributes are carefully implemented. Various behavior of the enemies, health, armor and ammo management, weapons, which are useful in each playstyle and situation.

Not sure where the conception comes from that rogue-like gameplay is modern. Yes, is has become popular to add rogue-like gameplay elements to your game, probably starting with Spelunky, but they are called rogue-likes because they share gameplay elements with Rogue, which is an RPG from the 80s. Rogue-like games like Hack or NetHack have been around for more than three decades.

Plus, just because levels are procedurally generated doesn't mean that the creator hasn't put a lot of work into the algorithm that generates those levels.
